It’s a known fact that the San Diego Comic Con is one of the best events in the world for the unveiling of entertainment material. While DC’s Wonder Woman and Justice League have left fans in awe and overshadowed other movies, there are some trailers that you should definitely pay attention to.

1) Trainspotting 2

Trainspotting will be remembered as one of the cult classic films of all time. 20 years after it hit cinemas worldwide, we finally get a glimpse of a sequel. The next installment reunites some of the original cast members, such as Ewan McGregor and Robert Carlyle. And with Danny Boyle back in the director’s seat, expect the sequel to have more iconic scenes like this.

2) Blair Witch

The third installment of The Blair Witch Project (second, if you think Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 doesn’t count) is finally here. One of the creepiest films we’ve been traumatized by in recent times is The Conjuring 2, so let’s see if Blair Witch can give it a run for its money.

3) Final Fantasy XV

The compelling fantasy worlds that Square Enix crafted for the Final Fantasy franchise has given fans plenty of landscapes, ranging from magical kingdoms to cyberpunk citadels, to wander around in. Now, it diverts its attention to film, taking the realism in animation to a whole new level. Voice input from actors Aaron Paul, Lena Headey and Sean Bean lend plenty of credibility and make this film one to look out for.

4) King Arthur: Legend of the Sword

Lead actor Charlie Hunnam shows us a grittier version of the legendary King Arthur in this upcoming medieval movie. If he’s as committed here as he was in Sons of Anarchy, you can be rest assured that you’ll get to see one bad-ass king ready to wage war on his adversaries.

5) Kong: Skull Island

The producers of Godzilla have gathered a star-studded cast comprising Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson to out King Kong up on the silver screen once again. In the trailer, Jackson’s character leads a massive force to face off against the colossal ape. Expect plenty of destruction and casualties in the aftermath.
