At Three Billion Views, “Despacito” is the Most-Viewed YouTube Video of All Time

Despacito by Luis Fonsi and Daddy is now the most-viewed YouTube video of all time.

Despacito also broke the record for the first YouTube video to surpass three billion views.

Released in January 2017, the Spanish music video quickly amassed over three billion views in just seven months.

It beat previous record holder, See You Again by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, for the most-viewed YouTube video of all time. For comparison, See You Again was released in April 2015 and it only broke three billion views recently.

Besides the two aforementioned records, the video also attained several other achievements. They include the most-liked video in YouTube history and the fastest video to reach two billion views. It is also the most-viewed music video of 2017 in over 40 countries.
