Apple has made some of the more popular apps such as iMovie, Numbers, Keynote, Pages and GarageBand free to download.

Previously, users with older or used Apple devices had to pay US$4.99 (approx. S$7.00) for GarageBand and iMovie, and US$9.99 (approx. S$14.00) for Keynote, Numbers, and Pages.

The apps were only free to those who bought a new Mac or iOS device. However, with the new updates, users with older devices may now download them for free through the App store.
