Jordan Brand will be taking over the former home of the iconic Schaber’s Cafeteria, right next to the Palace Theatre.

The brand’s new home will be in a historic building at 620 South Broadway, formerly housing Schaber’s Cafeteria. The 19,000 square foot space is set to feature a Jordan-specific retail experience, complete with a training area and rooftop basketball courts. There will also be bleacher seatings and a snack bar.

Other plans for the store’s space include a dedicated floor for retail, and another for a locker room, fitness room and small VIP lounge.

The rendering of the project by McCall Design Group shows that the store will preserve much of the building’s original facade.
