Kult Gallery subverts snooty art shows by selling art pieces for S$200 or less in its upcoming exhibition, The $200 Show: Actually Affordable Art.

The exhibition will showcase a number of pieces from the gallery’s archives, including original Kult pieces, silkscreen and risograph prints, art on vinyl and resin-cast sculptures from notable Singaporean and international artists.

Participating artists include Kimiaki Yaegashi, Taj Tenfold, Eric Foenander and Russell Taysom.

You have the Gallery’s word that the exhibition won’t turn out to be some stuffy affair. In a press release, its curators promise “a lowbrow atmosphere that proves art too is entertainment, meant to be experienced and enjoyed by everyone.”
