Manny Pacquiao Backs Mayweather Jr. to Win Fight Against McGregor

Manny Pacquiao has picked his winner for the Mayweather vs McGregor fight.

Manny Pacquiao claims Floyd Mayweather Jr. is too great a defensive fighter for Conor Mcgregor to take on.

“McGregor has no chance in this fight”, said Pacquiao in an interview with Yahoo Sports. “In fact, it could be very boring.”

The Filipino boxer, who lost to Mayweather in 2015, seems to believe that the undefeated boxer’s defensive prowess will give him the edge over McGregor.

“There is no way he will be able to land a meaningful punch on Floyd,” Pacquiao added. “How could he? He has no professional experience in boxing.”

Despite having a vote of no confidence by Pacquiao, McGregor did, however, receive a stamp of approval from undefeated British boxer, Tyson Fury.

Speaking to iFL TV, Fury believes McGregor will knock Mayweather out “in the first 35 seconds like he did to Jose Aldo”.

The Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Conor McGregor fight will take place on August 26, 2017.
