McDonald’s Singapore to Serve Nasi Lemak Burger from July 13

McDonald’s is launching a range of local-inspired food such as the Nasi Lemak Burger in celebration of Singapore’s National Day.

The special menu at McDonald’s Singapore includes a Nasi Lemak Burger, Chendol McFlurry, and a Kueh Salat Cake.

The Nasi Lemak Burger comes with a coconut flavored chicken patty, served with a spicy sambal sauce. It’ll cost diners S$5.95.

Other items offered include three different types of chendol ice-cream cones, the Chendol Melaka Cone, the Chendol Melaka Twist, and the Chendol Melaka Chococone. According to Yahoo Singapore, each cone costs S$1, making it a cheap and satisfying round-up to your meal.

For drinks, the fast food chain will offer a Bandung McFizz and a Pandan Coco Frappe.

For those curious, the Pandan Coco Frappe (S$4.60) has been described as a drink that blends both coconut and pandan flavors with grass jelly.

The new menu will launch Thursday, July 13, in conjuction with the Singapore Food Festival.
