The BMX-inspired Neighborhood x Vans OG Authentic Drops this July

The Neighborhood x Vans OG Authentic drops in two colorways: all-black and red.

The Neighborhood x Vans OG Authentic will drop Friday, July 14.

Aesthetically, the shoes will come in a mix of leather and canvas. Premium leather can be found on the sneakers’ toe while the rest of the upper will come in canvas.

It also features the Vans BMX “thumbs up” logo on part of the sole, while the Vans BMX logo will come in either black or red, to match the sneaker’s colorway.

In addition, the shoe also comes with a vulcanized waffle rubber outsole for comfort and traction, as well as metal shoelace eyelets.

If the design looks familiar, it’s because the duo has released a BMX-inspired design before. Vans and Neighborhood teamed up earlier in May 2017 to release the Neighborhood x Vans Sk8-Hi. The sneakers sported references to the Japanese BMX scene with alternating black and red “thumbs up” logos.
