Nike’s Unlimited Stadium Wins Big at Clio Sports Award

Nike unveils the brand new Unlimited Stadium in the heart of Manilla.

Located in Bonifacio Global City, Philippines, Nike’s Unlimited Stadium takes home three medals at the Clio Sports Awards.

According to Campaign Brief Asia, Nike’s Unlimited Stadium scored 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal at the 2017 Clio Sports Awards. For those unaware, the Clio Sports Awards honors the best and brightest in sports related advertising and marketing.

Nestled in Manilla, Nike’s Unlimited Stadium features the world’s first full-sized 200 meters LED running track – where up to 30 runners can take part in a virtual race.

To compete, runners first set an initial lap time. This can be done via an attachment on the athlete’s shoes. After which, an avatar will appear on the continuous LED screens and compete with the athletes – allowing the runners to keep improving their run time.

Conceptualized and created by BBH Singapore, the stadium is also reportedly inspired by the footprint of the Nike LunarEpic runners.
