Nintendo is Creating “The Legend of Zelda” Escape Room

Legend of Zelda fans rejoice! Nintendo is currently teaming up with escape room OG, Scrap Entertainment to bring the world of Hyrule to you!

Nintendo partners with SCRAP Entertainment to bring you the first ‘Legend of Zelda’ escape room, ‘Defenders of the Triforce’.

Sick of experiencing fantasy world from the safety of your home? Do you want to know what it feels like to be the hero of your beloved childhood video game? Well, you’re in luck! Nintendo wants you to experience the wonderful world of Hyrule, complete with all the Gorons, Zorans, Korokiris and all the cloaks and weapons you can imagine.

Nintendo partners SCRAP Entertainment, the original creators of the escape room, to bring to life a Zelda escape room like no other. Instead of planning an escape from a dark, locked room, players will be able to solve mysteries in a huge game area, whilst interacting with all the classic characters and weapons. And like the Nintendo game itself, players will be able to access ‘locked’ areas and puzzle hints, after finding hidden items.

Some dates have been announced for the 2017 US tour, and although Nintendo has yet to confirm the possibility of bringing the escape room to the rest of the world, word on the gaming grapevine is that there might be a possibility that “Defenders of the Triforce” will announce a more in-depth tour after the launch of “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”. We’re keeping our fingers crossed!
