Chanel’s upcoming campaign for the Gabrielle bag stars Pharrell, the first man to front a bag campaign by the French fashion house.

After ending Fashion Week with a literal blast (by launching a rocket), Chanel went on to release new images from the latest campaign for the Gabrielle bag. The campaign stars Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevigne and Pharrell Williams.

Karl Lagerfeld enlisted the help of Pharrell to showcase how the double chain strap on the Gabrielle bag offers users many different ways to carry it, making it suitable even for men (WWD).

The Pharrell imagery comprises a portrait shot of the star alongside an all-black crocodile version of the Gabrielle.

Pharrell’s association with Chanel goes beyond the Gabrielle bag. The producer has always incorporated Chanel accessories into his looks, throwing in some “sunglasses here, or a jacket there,” according to WWD.
