REG’s real-life escape puzzles were conceptualized by Japan’s SCRAP Entertainment, and eventually spread to other countries. With over 10 million participants to date, its popularity is apparent. The premise sounds simple: Within a stipulated time, find your way out of a locked room or location by putting your mettle to the test in solving numerous puzzles and riddles.
