5 Must-Watch Trailers from San Diego Comic-Con 2017

Several trailers were released at San Diego Comic-Con 2017. Here is our pick of the five trailers that you absolutely must watch.

We’ve rounded up the biggest and most exciting trailers from San Diego Comic-Con 2017 in one place for your viewing pleasure. Check them out below:

1) Justice League

Warner Bros. and DC premiered a new trailer for Justice League. The first team-up film in the DC Universe, it features Ben Affleck’s Batman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, as well as new arrivals Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). Besides the assembly of the League, the trailer also gives us a first look at a new villain called Steppenwolf. It also teases the return of an unknown character and the Lantern Corps.

Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.

2) Thor: Ragnarok

On the Marvel side of things, fans were treated to a second trailer for Thor: Ragnarok. Starring Chris Hemsworth as the Asgardian God of Thunder, we see him reuniting with his Avenger BFF, Bruce Banner aka The Hulk, who is played by Mark Ruffalo. To save his home world from The Goddess of Death, Hela (Cate Blanchett), Thor has to assemble a team of warriors to stop her and prevent Ragnarok from happening. Tom Hiddleston’s Loki makes an appearance in the clip, and The Hulk is also heard speaking coherently for the first time.

Thor: Ragnarok premieres November 3, 2017.

3) Ready Player One

Directed by Steven Spielberg, Ready Player One is a science fiction action adventure based on Ernest Cline’s best-selling novel of the same name. Those with sharp eyes would be able to spot the various pop-culture references in the trailer. Examples include the appearance of Deadpool, Harley Quinn, the Iron Giant, and Freddy Krueger.

Ready Player One opens in theaters March 30, 2018. It stars Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, T.J Miller and Simon Pegg.

4) Stranger Things Season 2

The kids from Stranger Things are back for more supernatural adventures. Set against Michael Jackson’s Thriller, the trailer shows the young protagonists facing new kinds of horror. According to Wikipedia, the second season of the series takes place around Halloween of 1984, and will explore a “bigger mythology” of Will’s disappearance.

Stranger Things Season 2 premieres October 27, 2017, on Netflix.

5) Bright

Other than Stranger Things Season 2, Netflix also unveiled a trailer for its new Original Film, Bright. The film starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton introduces us to an alternative world where humans and mythical creatures live together. Half cop-movie and half fantasy, Bright features light-hearted banter, gun fights, and several magical spells and explosions. Think Harry Potter, but with guns.

Bright hits Netflix on December 22, 2017.
