Star Trek is set to live long and prosper, as both past and future episodes of the franchise will be available via online streaming on Netflix.
If catching Star Trek Beyond in cinemas this month isn’t enough to quell your appetite for science fiction, the new TV series might just do the trick.
The all-new Star Trek TV series slated for premiere in January 2017 will be exclusively available on Netflix. Each episode will be available in 188 countries within 24 hours of the U.S. premiere.
While the ship, characters and missions within the series may be new, faithful fans of the franchise created by Gene Roddenberry can rest assured that the same theme of exploring new frontiers remains intact.
For those who want to relive all the previous series, Netflix also has you covered. All 727 episodes from Star Trek: The Original Series and more will also be available on the video streaming platform by end of 2016.
With so much to look forward to and catch up on, you should probably start clearing your schedule in anticipation of January 2017.
