Uniqlo is Now Selling Clothes via Vending Machines at Airports

These Uniqlo vending machines make shopping as easy as buying a drink.

Airport travelers can now buy t-shirts and jackets from these Uniqlo vending machines.

According to BBC, this new initiative allows Uniqlo to take advantage of the high human traffic at airports. In addition, it also allows them to grow their presence without the need to open a physical store.

The Japanese retailer launched its first vending machine at Oakland Airport, California. Nine other such machines are expected to pop up across the US in coming months.

Called “Uniqlo To Go”, they will carry the brand’s thermal t-shirts, as well as its lightweight down jackets.
