Nike Celebrates Air Max Day 2018 with Three Sneaker Releases – Here’s How to Get Yours

The Nike Air Max Day 2018 sneakers will be released throughout the month of March.

Nike celebrates the Air Max Day 2018 (celebrated March 26 yearly) with three sneakers: Air Vapormax Flyknit 2.0, Air Vapormax 97 and Nike Air Max 1/97.

Good news sneakerheads! JD Sports Malaysia will be holding a raffle for the release of the Sean Wortherspoon Nike Air Max 1/97. The sneakers will retail for RM629 (approx. S$211.20).

Follow the steps below to enter:

1. Download the JD Sports app (available for both Android and iOS).
2. Fill in the form accordingly. Remember to fill in all fields.

According to the Facebook post, winners will be notified by email on Friday, March 23. Winners will only be allowed to purchase their sneakers between 10am and 10pm (GMT+8) on Saturday, March 24.

JD Sports Malaysia has released an Instagram post, teasing the release of the hyped Sean Wortherspoon Nike Air Max 1/97 (post below).

Limited Edt has also announced an online ballot for the Sean Wortherspoon Nike Air Max 1/97. Here’s how you can ballot for the sneakers:

A. Limited Edt VIP ballot: 

Vip members can place a ballot for the Sean Wortherspoon Nike Air Max 1/97 here.

B. Limited Edt public ballot:

1. Purchase a pair of Air Max shoes from any Limited Edt stores except its outlet store located at 313@Somerset.

2. Visit Limited Edt Vault (313@Somerset) anytime from Friday, March 23 to Sunday, March 25. Don’t forget to indicate your details and sneaker size.

3. The ballot will be held on Monday, March 26. Winners will be announced then.

1. Nike Air Vapormax Flyknit 2.0 

For Air Max Day, the Nike Air Vapormax Flyknit 2.0 will come in a striking black/teal/pink colorway. Other design elements include a gray ankle collar as well as a transparent sole unit.

2. Nike Air Vapormax 97 

Nike honors the past and the future by bringing the two together, resulting in the Nike Air Vapormax 97. The sneakers will be released in a neon green and black colorway, which sources claim is a nod to the Air Max 97 Japan OG.

For a touch of the future, the Nike Air Vapormax 97 comes with a Vapormax outsole.

3. Sean Wotherspoon Nike Air Max 1/97 

Sean Wotherspoon is the winner of the 2017 Nike Vote Forward competition. The sneakers feature a multi-colored corduroy upper, along with two Nike swooshes and a multicolored sole.

The shoes proved so popular amongst sneakerheads that Need Supply Co, a store in Virginia, had to cancel the sneaker’s release due to the overwhelming crowd. Plus, the shoes have great resale value with prices varying between US$850 (approx. S$1,118) and US$1,100 (approx. S$1,446) on StockX.
