Airbnb Dares You to Sleep in the Catacombs this Halloween

500,000 people visit the Paris Catacombs annually, but this is the first time that two (un)lucky people will have the privilege of spending the night there.

Forget man-made horror houses and actors disguised as ghouls, Airbnb has stepped up the scare factor by letting two (un)lucky winners be the first people to spend a night in the Paris catacombs, one of the world’s largest cemeteries.

Eat, sleep and wake up in a labyrinth filled with millions of Parisian skeletal remains, including the bones and skulls of famous French writers and poets, all stored 65 feet under the city.

This eerie experience is not for the fainthearted, but if you’re unfazed by all the usual Halloween festivities, enter the contest via the Airbnb listing and who knows, you might be on your way to this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
