Danish lifestyle and fashion brand Wood Wood commemorates its 15th anniversary with the ASICS Tiger GEL DS-Trainer OG x Wood Wood.
Aesthetics aside, the ASICS Tiger x Wood Wood sneakers will feature a mono-sock neoprene bootie as well as the iconic ASICS GEL technology for enhanced cushioning and a better fit.
The ASICS Tiger GEL DS-Trainer OG x Wood Wood draws inspiration from the electronics designed by German industrial designer, Dieter Rams, that were popular in the 60s. An example of Rams’ design can be seen in the image below.
The shoes feature hints of red in its shoelace eyelets, olive green lace tips and outsole, as well as yellow leather accents on its collar. Wood Wood’s branding can be spotted on the shoe tongue.
The sneakers will first drop in Germany and Denmark on Wednesday, May 24. Singapore-based sneakerheads interested in copping the sneakers can do so from Limited Edt and STARTHREESIXTY stores from Saturday, May 27, onwards. The ASICS Tiger GEL DS-Trainer OG x Wood Wood” will retail for S$229.
