An Atmos Kuala Lumpur Store Might Be Opening Soon!

Soon, Atmos will only be a Causeway crossing away, with a new store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

You can now check out their Instagram, @atmos_kl, and their website, atmos-kl.com, for more updates. It seems that Atmos KL has a page dedicated to Air Max Day (airmaxday.atmos-kl.com) as well. Could the store be opening on March 26?

The new Atmos Kuala Lumpur store will be the label’s second international store.

You saw that right: famed Japanese label Atmos might be coming to our neighbor across the Causeway. The brand looks to be opening its second international store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Atmos Kuala Lumpur Facebook page has teased its imminent arrival with a single post showcasing its logo.

Atmos was launched in 2000 by Hidefumi Hommyo. The streetwear and sneaker boutique had humble beginnings, opening its first store in a tiny, backstreet store at Ura-Harajuku in Tokyo. Over the years, Atmos has expanded to become a tastemaker in the streetwear space, stocking some of the biggest names in the game. At the same time, it’s released some of the most coveted collabs, like the Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Elephant Print” and Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Animal 3.0”. This solidified its status in the streetwear space, becoming one of the most respected names in the game.

If the store opens in 2020, we should be seeing their latest Atmos Pinnacle apparel and Coca-Cola x Columbia x Atmos essentials collection on Atmos Kuala Lumpur shelves. Both collaborations showcase Atmos’ playful take on essential apparel.
