Bape announced its latest collaboration: a Bape x Mastermind Japan eyewear collection.
According to a press release sent by Bape Singapore, the Bape x Mastermind Japan eyewear collab will be available from Saturday, June 3.
The special boxed set will come with a commemorative Bape x Mastermind Japan box, Bape camo case, cleaning cloth, as well as a warranty card to help maintain your sunglasses.
Each pair is priced at S$1,049 and will be available at the Bape Store Singapore (Mandarin Gallery, 333 Orchard Rd).
Check out the images below for a closer look at the collection:
Teased on Bape Store Singapore’s Facebook page several days ago, the collection will feature the popular Aviator and Wayfarer silhouettes in five different styles.
Additional close-ups of the collection showed glimpses of Bape’s iconic camo as well as Mastermind Japan’s notable skull and crossbones logo emblazoned on the lenses. Other features include Bape and Mastermind Japan’s logos etched onto the temple tips and the hinges of the frames.
No prices have been provided, but the video suggested that a release is due sometime in May 2017. Additionally, the official teaser video suggests that the collection will be limited edition – with only 500 pieces available for sale (picture above).
The collection will be available in selected Bape stockists in Japan, Hong Kong, as well as Singapore. If Bape’s Instagram caption is anything to go by, it looks like multi-brand fashion house, i.t. Hong Kong will also carry the eyewear collection.
Keep an eye out for more updates on the exciting collaboration.
