Billie Eilish hints at possible Jordan collaboration

Billie Eilish goes Sneaker Shopping this week. While the 17-year-old often gives off a somber and uninterested vibe, her personality is anything but.

The singer loves anything unconventional – chunky sneakers and men’s shoes, to be exact. She tells all on the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping.

Joining Joe La Puma on Sneaker Shopping’s eighth episode in as many seasons, Eilish started off by revealing what got her into Jordans. And it just so happens to be Riff Raff’s track, Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz. Oddly, we don’t know if anyone else can claim the same story of discovery. What we do know is that she has a soft spot for chunky sneakers, like the A$AP Rocky x Under Armour SRLo. The bigger, the better, apparently. This is likely the reason why she prefers men’s shoes instead of women’s, which are often “flat and low to the ground.”

She also likes them in all sorts of funky colorways, and if it’s a sneaker that people generally don’t like, you can bet that Eilish will love them. Her favorite sneaker, after all, is the Air Jordan 15 – literally, the worst designed Jordan according to the designer, Tinker Hatfield, himself.

Eilish also hinted at ongoing talks with Jordan for a potential collaboration when questioned by Joe La Puma. For a female sneakerhead who copped her first Jordan from a thrift store, she said, “It’s insane to think about it. I grew up not being able to afford it and now I’m working with the people who created it.” The collaboration might see the rising pop star have a hand in developing a women’s sneaker line, but that’s all we know for now.
