Dior, under the helm of Kim Jones, has collaborated with Travis Scott and his label Cactus Jack for their Summer 2022 collection.
The collection merges Christian Dior’s childhood rose garden with a cactus garden, a reference to Scott’s upbringing in Houston, Texas. This is visible in the muted palette of sand, pale green and light blues that are used throughout the collection.
The collection sees Dior’s signature techniques paired with Cactus Jack’s detailing. Pieces from the collection feature impeccable, time-honed tailoring with the modern application of graphics, logos, typography and embroidery inspired by tour merch by Cactus Jack for Scott.

For the sneakerheads: The duo unveiled a sneaker that mirrors popular chunky skate sneakers from the early 2000s. It features a wide stance and very padded upper with labels bearing a Dior logo written in Cactus Jack typography.
Fun fact: This is the first time Kim Jones has worked with Dior’s joaillerie artistic director Victoire De Castellane to create a one-of-a-kind cactus necklace with precious gems just for the runway.
Exclusive collaboration for charity: The collaborative partners worked with contemporary artist George Condo to merge old European master painting with pop culture references to create hand-painted tees and unique works of art. These items were auctioned off after the show for the Cactus Jack Foundation, Scott’s charity that focuses on providing scholarships for future generations of creatives.
