Conor McGregor Unveils Training Program that’s Not For Everyone

MMA fighter Conor McGregor becomes the poster boy for a new fitness program that The Notorious claims will get people into fighting shape real quick.

The Maclife Fighter Aerobic/Anaerobic System of Training (F.A.S.T) is a 12-week program developed by Conor McGregor, sports doctors and exercise physiologists.

According to Conor McGregor, his previous training methods almost cost him his career, and it’s this program that helped him last five rounds in his most recent fight, a re-match against Nate Diaz.

It won’t be free; McGregor says in a Facebook post that “real shit costs” — USS$295 to be exact. F.A.S.T comes with a custom-built workout schedule, drawn from a pool of over 800 training drills. You’ll also need to have equipment including a heavy bag, a treadmill, an exercise bike rowing machine and a heart rate monitor.

Also included are instructional videos that feature McGregor’s training secrets, and fighters who are on the program “will learn how to punch with devastating force”.

The Notorious one warns that “it is not for those who seek to watch me do jumping jacks on a screen for a $20 a month”, an emphasis on the fact that the training program won’t be for everyone.

For proof as to whether or not The Mac Life F.A.S.T program works, stay tuned to UFC 205, happening this Sunday. If Conor McGregor puts in an impressive performance when fighting Eddie Alvarez, his new training methods might just become widely accepted amongst other MMA fighters.
