Take home a pair of custom adidas Originals Stan Smith sneakers curated by four creators whose art installations have made the new VivoCity store feel like home. Here’s how.

Singapore’s first adidas Originals Flagship store opened its doors on December 18 and to help it feel like home, four local artists Clogtwo, YANGERMEISTER, SONG and Mightyellow were invited to create art installations—a mural, a trio of statuettes, carpets and illustrations—all of which are inspired by Singapore. In addition, each has also curated a pair of custom adidas Originals Stan Smith sneakers that are available for grabs.

Sneakerheads will know that the all-white Stan Smith is the perfect canvas for these artists to pay homage to the Lion City which each of them calls home. These bespoke Stan Smith sneakers represent exclusive custom works of art that you can wear on your feet.

adidas Originals Stan Smith “Caliber” by Clogtwo

In his rendition of the Stan Smith, Clogtwo draws parallels between Singapore and the tennis shoe from the 1970s: both are steeped in heritage while being engineered for the future. This fan-favorite silhouette is given Clogtwo’s signature MechaSoul.Engineering™ treatment in which The Three Stripes and heel tab get exposed components like wires, cables and pistons while warning labels are found on the lateral sides of the shoe. YANGERMEISTER’s Stan Smith is inspired by the rebellious energy of youth and the natural camaraderie of local culture. What they have in common is the determination to go against the grain and the desire to establish themselves. This Stan Smith represents youthful ambition with boldly painted upward-facing droplets that move from the midsole to the upper, defying the laws of gravity. What goes down must come up—together.

SONG’s Stan Smith will give you something to chew on. A nod to Singapore, the Lion City, SONG gives the Stan Smith teeth, scratch marks and fur. The brightly painted bold strokes in a palette of pink, yellow and brown, coupled with leather panels in a metallic finish, showcases SONG’s unique style that is a blend of graffiti and fine art. Completing the sneaker is SONG’s unmistakable tag painted across the midsole. Not for the faint-hearted.

adidas Originals Stan Smith “Tropical Sole” by Mightyellow

Mightyellow takes the Stan Smith for a playful spin by paying homage to Singapore’s roots as a tropical jungle and its evolution into that of a vibrant garden city. She paints a lush tapestry of mangroves, rambutans and wild nutmeg across the upper and midsole of the sneaker. Keeping the medial and lateral sides of the sneaker pristine, the toebox appears to have been dipped into a tropical playground and elements of it joyfully ribbon around the shoe. The perfect accompaniment to your next adventure.
