#FR2 and Surrender embrace Singapore’s fine culture with “Heavy Smoker” collection

#FR2 x Surrender come together for a pop-up to launch their “Heavy Smoker” collection.

The collection takes a dig at Singapore’s “fine” culture, a result of the country’s rigid laws.

FXXKING RABBITS (#FR2) and Surrender pay homage to the strict laws and culture in Singapore with their latest collection. Playing on the “SMOKING KILLS” slogan, #FR2 and Surrender have titled their upcoming capsule “HEAVY SMOKER”. #FR2 has a reputation for adopting a more tongue-in-cheek attitude with their releases, including the release of a SMOKING KILLS ashtray, and “HEAVY SMOKER” does not disappoint.

Taking inspiration from Singapore souvenir tees, #FR2 x Surrender take the actions that you can get fined for in Singapore and flip the graphics upside down.

Additionally, the Fxxing Rabbits logo has been given a Singapore twist for the upcoming capsule. Taking the form of a half rabbit, half Merlion – Singapore’s national mascot – the mashed-up mascot can be found across all the pieces in this capsule. Cheekily, the products feature Surrender’s store address as well as their phone number.

The capsule will also include a range of accessories including a mug, a stainless steel bottle and iPhone cases. Both the phone cases and the mug will have “HEAVY SMOKER” branding in addition to #FR2 and Surrender co-branding.

The #FR2 x Surrender “HEAVY SMOKER” Singapore capsule will be availble to purchase at the pop-up held at Surrender Store from October 27-28, 2018. The collection is priced between S$60 and S$290.
