G-SHOCK Full Metal 5000 Series Singapore Drop: April 26

The G-SHOCK Full Metal 5000 Series will be available in Singapore from Thursday, April 26.

GMW-B5000D-1, the hallmark timepiece of the G-SHOCK Full Metal 5000 Series

G-SHOCK’s 5000 Series puts the very first G-SHOCK – the DW5000C – front and center.

The G-SHOCK Full Metal 5000 Series, which sees the iconic DW5000C watch arriving in a full steel construction in gold or silver, gives the usually rugged G-SHOCK an elegant makeover.

The GMW-B5000D-1 (Silver) represents the first watch in the 5000 series to receive a full metal construction, with its outer components made entirely out of stainless steel.

Despite the full metal construction, the watch still retains the shockproof properties made famous by the original G-SHOCK with the use of a new case fabrication employing a highly durable fine resin insert between the stainless steel case and bezel to absorb shock.

The gold ion-plated GMW-B5000TFG-9 timepiece is a special edition release to mark G-SHOCK’s 35th anniversary

Alongside the silver timepiece, G-SHOCK will also release a special edition timepiece to mark its 35^th anniversary this year. The GMW-B5000TFG-9 (Gold) is a striking, ion-plated iteration that’s nothing short of a statement piece. The watch sports the 35^thanniversary logo on its case back and will come in a special edition packaging.

The watches will be available in Singapore at Supplies & Co. (Mandarin Gallery, #03-09/10) and G-FACTORY outlets islandwide (except IMM) from April 26. Thereafter, the watches will only be available at G-FACTORY outlets.
