Cameras were the best thing that happened to mobile phones. Now, in the era of smartphones, heavyweights such as Apple, Samsung and Huawei strive to make better cameras on their flagship devices year after year. But the question remains. Can the cameras on smartphones really get any better? Well, enter the new Huawei P30 series, which comes with a super camera co-engineered with legendary camera manufacturer Leica.
The world’s third-largest smartphone manufacturer isn’t just rivaling the likes of Apple and Samsung, it’s also stealing the spotlight from camera manufacturers with the Huawei P30.
Features
The new line will come in two versions – the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro – with five colors to choose from. Leica’s Quad Camera system is the showstopper here, featuring a 40-megapixel main camera with Huawei’s SuperSpectrum Sensor, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, and Huawei’s Time-of-Flight (TOF) camera.
These different cameras offer incredible ultra-wide and brighter images, up to 50 times digital zoom and a portrait mode that gives you the creamy Leica-style bokeh, among others. What about your selfies? Well, the smartphone also boasts a whopping 32-megapixel front camera. The way you take photos on a smartphone will change with the new Huawei P30 series.
