The pre-season tournament first descended on our shores last year, but the second edition this year will take on a different format. 18 teams including Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool will battle it out across the United States, Europe, and Singapore, with one team eventually taking on the mantle of champions. This format is a change from the previous formats, where each participating continent crowns a winner.
While the tournament will run concurrently across the host nations, Singapore will be the tournament’s only Asian host. For the die-hard football fans in Asia, Singapore is the place to be to get in on the mouth-watering pre-season football activities.
The chance to catch these teams live in action is hard to pass on, especially with PSG (the French giant that splashed S$355 million on Brazilian superstar, Neymar, in the summer transfer window) visiting Singapore for the first time.
