According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Kanye West and his company, Yeezy, are suing Walmart on the basis that Walmart is selling Yeezy Foam Runner fakes.
West claims that Walmart has been producing “unauthorized exact copy” of the Foam Runner, causing confusion to customers as to whether they are not the products are the real deal. Yeezy claims that this confusion could be costing its brand millions of dollars.

West claimed that they sent a legal warning to Walmart to take down the fake footwear, but the e-commerce site failed to take any action.
Walmart has responded to the news of the complaint by claiming that the product referenced was listed by third-party sellers, adding that they will formally respond when they have been served the complaint.
Considering that the products are being listed on Walmart by a third party, it is left to be seen whether Yeezy will be successful in its complaints against Walmart.
