To celebrate its history and impact on style and culture, Levi’s® 501® Day 2021 is pulling out all the stops, and it’s all coming to screens very, very near you on May 20.

Online and everywhere

The Levi’s® 501® Day 2021 program takes place entirely online — it’s happening on YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitch and Clubhouse — where people go to get clued in on trends, culture and to build community these days.

While serious about owning its heritage, Levi’s® is committed to the denim lovers of today. On 501® Day, it takes the chance to introduce Levi’s® Originals, an exciting cohort of people from athletes to activists: Hailey Bieber, Naomi Osaka, Marcus Rashford, Emma Chamberlain, Barbie Ferreira, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jaden Smith, some of whom will feature on segments of the full-day program on May 20.

My first memory of a 501 jean was the cooler, older teenagers wearing them and having the high-waisted, slouchy look. I grew up in New York, so the vibe was very casual.
