“Lip Sync Battle” to Debut on Comedy Central Asia

You’ve seen Hollywood celebrities like Dwayne Johnson, Anne Hathaway and John Krasinski put up award-winning performances in cinemas, but have you seen them take the stage and engage in one of pop culture’s latest phenomenon – a lip sync battle?

Lip Sync Battle

Comedy Central is bringing the pop culture phenomenon of the lip sync battle with a TV program of the same name. Originally a recurring segment on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show, Lip Sync Battle has grown into a full-fledged spinoff, containing over 10 episodes of entertainment that sees celebrities vie for lip sync bragging rights.

Hosted by LL Cool J with Chrissy Teigen on commentary, the first season of Lip Sync Battle will also include talents such as John Legend, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Mike Tyson, and Queen Latifah. Expect even more to come next year, as the show has been renewed for a second season. Can’t wait for the premiere? Check out a clip from the show here:
