Manulife Sneaker Drop: Cop Sneakers Responsibly

Manulife Sneaker Drop, held online over five weeks from August 31, gives you the opportunity to score grails and listen in on plenty of sneaker talk, all in the safety of your home.

With a pandemic looming large, any form of large gathering is prohibited. This means queuing for sneakers, camping out for drops and attending sneaker community gatherings are now things of the past. According to a Manulife survey, 68% of respondents are afraid of contracting Covid-19, while 58% of the group is concerned about long queues and the formation of large crowds*.

But life must go on and sneakerheads will find their ways to get their hands on kicks. Here’s one way to score grails (and we’re not using the word lightly here): Take part in the Manulife Sneaker Drop, a five-week sneaker giveaway held in conjunction with a webinar series starting August 31, which focuses on a whole lot of sneaker talk by various personalities including Mr Sabotage (SBTG) and sneaker collectors Tim Suen and Clara Hong.

To take part in the weekly sneaker giveaway, you’ll have to answer a question of the week and sign up for the webinar. Each week’s draw starts at Monday 9am, and you have till Saturday 7pm to submit your answer and register here. We’ll be revealing each week’s drop in this article, so don’t sleep.
