The new on-feet images also suggest that the sneaker will arrive with laces in three colors – white, red, and black.

It looks like Virgil Abloh’s association with Nike is here to stay. The partnership – which started with the groundbreaking “The Ten” collection in 2017 – will continue into 2020 with another sneaker collaboration lined up: the Air Jordan 5. Virgil’s upcoming approach features toned down touches to commemorate the silhouette’s 30th anniversary – a stark contrast to the bold “Athlete in Progress” collection. @hanzuying has taken to Instagram with on-feet images of the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 sneaker, showing off the different lace color variations as well.

The sneaker’s heritage is preserved with MJ’s “23” featuring on the outer heels and “Nike Air” emblazoned on the rear. To compensate for the toned-down colorway, Virgil takes advantage of the sneaker’s oversized tongue by introducing a reflective and metallic finish for that irresistible flashy touch. Must cop? You’ll have to wait for the All-Star Weekend happening in February 2020 to snap these up.

Now that it’s clear the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 will come with three different colored laces, the real question is, which combination works best? Leave a comment below.
