Patta x Nike Releases a Hybrid Air Max 90/95 Sneaker

Patta x Nike join forces again, this time to create a collab sneaker that combines features of the Air Max 90 and Air Max 95.

The sneaker is the centerpiece of the latest collaboration between the Swoosh and the Dutch streetwear brand.

Patta x Nike are en route to releasing their second collab of the year with a wild Air Max 90 x Air Max 95 hybrid. The collection dubbed “Publicity. Publicity. Wohooooow!” puts the spotlight on multiple creative expressions including clothing, footwear, campaigns and 11 creatives have been recruited for the collaboration.

The hybrid sneaker will come with an Air Max 90 upper with an Air Max 95 sole. A primarily all black upper, there are pops of color thanks to the red Swoosh and a vibrant Volt tongue tag with Patta branding on it. The ribbed panel on the heel of the shoe has been amended to include the Patta logo instead of the usual Air Max branding.

When asked why the two specific silhouettes for the hybrid, Patta’s Vincent Van Waal had this to say: “The Air Max 90 is a robust classic, and the 95 has always felt like a futuristic design; combining both forms a mix between classic and more technical design.” (source)

Also part of the collection are complementary apparel pieces. There will be a matching set of pants and jacket in this checkered design with Nike and Patta branding running down the left breast. The blue coach jacket stands out with its oversized Nike and Patta branding across the chest in white. Check out some of the apparel pieces below.

The Patta x Nike “Publicity. Publicity. Wohooooow!” collection will drop on October 20 at the Patta store and on its website, while a worldwide release is slated for October 27.
