The PUMA RS-0 Sega collection has finally received an official release date. The collection will drop on June 5 in PUMA and select retailers worldwide.

In addition to the “Sonic”, the PUMA RS-0 Sega collection will also feature a “Dr. Eggman” version of the sneaker. Similar to the “Sonic”, the sneaker is created to mirror the iconic characteristics of the character Dr. Eggman. Its upper is made out of red patent leather, reflecting the villain’s shiny red suit. Representing his Eggmobile machinery is a silver midsole and yellow, black caution stripe panels and a translucent blue outsole. Have a look at the PUMA RS-0 “Dr. Eggman” here.

PUMA explores the realms of music, photography, and gaming through these exciting collaborations.

Throughout 2018, PUMA will be releasing multiple collaborations with the RS-0 to look forward to. These include Korean streetwear brand, ADER error, SEGA, Polaroid, and Roland. Each sneaker will represent three different aspects: music, photography, and gaming.

PUMA RS-0 x ADER Error

PUMA links up with Seoul-based label ADER error this year. For this ADER error collaboration line, the sneakers will come in only two colorways – blue and black. The sneaker represents the essence of the Korean brand in its minimal yet outstanding design, with complementary pops of color.

PUMA RS-0 x Polaroid

This collaboration pays tribute to Polaroid’s influence within the photography scene. The sneaker adapts the design and colors of the Polaroid OneStep onto its white leather top. The inspiration of the shoe’s heel is derived from the graphics of the Polaroid Colour Spectrum.

PUMA RS-0 x Roland

Hailing from Japan, Roland teams up with the PUMA RS-0 to delve into the realm of music. This pair was inspired by the TR-808 drum machine, which was popular in the 1980s and highly influential in the hip hop scene. The accents on the shoes match the drum’s trigger keys, and features phrases such as “rhythm composer” and ‘bass drum” on it.

PUMA RS-0 x SEGA

According to Sneakernews.com, the PUMA RS-0 SEGA collaboration will be dropping this June. The sneakers will be centered around the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog. It is undeniably one of the most highly anticipated PUMA releases of the summer. The sneaker features a furry blue suede top, with elements of the video game throughout the shoe.
