Vote for your favorite SB2019 x Converse sneaker & walk away with S$200!
For the 6th edition of the Singapore Biennale, Singapore Art Museum has teamed up with Converse to get budding artists to design sneakers that describe the theme “Every Step in the Right Direction.”
18 winning designs have been selected, so all you have to do is vote for your favorite SB2019 x Converse design – and even win S$200 in vouchers.
The transition from 2019 to 2020 hasn’t been easy, with so much uncertainty looming in our future. To challenge that, the Singapore Art Museum chose “Every Step in the Right Direction” as the theme for the Singapore Biennale 2019. The event’s carefully curated exhibitions and performances all share an underlying message: that every step, forward or back, is necessary.
The SB2019 x Converse collaboration helps illustrate this message. Budding fashion designers were tasked with expressing their interpretation of “Every Step in the Right Direction” on the classic Converse All-Star. In all, 18 winners have been selected from three categories – with artists as young as nine turning the All-Star into works of art.

All that’s left to do is to determine the public’s favorite. That’s where you come in. Head down to VivoCity (Level 1 West Boulevard) from now till March 8 at 10 pm to check out the winning designs. Pick out a sneaker that speaks to you, and vote for it. Who knows, you might be one of five lucky winners to receive S$200 in Mapletree vouchers!
