About Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or CS:GO

CS:GO is one of the most popular first-person shooter games in the world, averaging 375,000 players each month.

The game is a first-person multiplayer shooter that pits two teams of five players against each other. Teams are divided into Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists, and are required to eliminate each other while also fulfilling separate objectives.

Terrorists are required to plant a bomb, while the Counter-Terrorists are tasked with stopping them. After each round, players are rewarded with in-game currency to spend on more powerful guns and weapons.

Dota 2 The International 2017 – Main Event Finals

About Dota 2

Dota 2 is a game that needs no introduction. This MOBA holds the highest prize pools across all of esports. In fact, the recently concluded International 7 featured a prize pool of more than US$24 million.

Similar to CS:GO, two teams of five players compete to destroy a large structure known as the “Ancient”, while also defending their own. Choose from over 110 playable heroes, each with their own specific roles, abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.

The winners of the CS:GO and Dota 2 Singapore Qualifiers will win a cash prize of S$5,000 each. In addition, they will represent Singapore at the APAC Regional Qualifiers, where they will compete against teams from countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, and Korea.

Regional Qualifiers + Finals

If they make it to the Grand Finals of the tournament, they will stand a chance to compete against elite professional gamers for a shared prize pool of US$500,000.
