After 17 years of bad blood, Parisian brand Louis Vuitton will finally release a collection with Supreme.

Streetwear brand Supreme will kickstart the new year by dropping an exclusive collaboration with luxury fashion brand, Louis Vuitton.

According to City of Hype, Louis Vuitton’s creative director Kim Jones has confirmed the collection.

An Instagram picture, allegedly taken during a French casting session, was leaked. Louis Vuitton’s creative director uploaded a (now deleted) picture of a Supreme sticker on top of the luxury brand’s iconic monogram, on Instagram.

If the leaked photo is anything to go by, you can expect to see official product shots of the Louis Vuitton monogrammed sweater with the Supreme box logo imprinted. The sweater collection might come in three colors — white, black, and gray.

Despite the “once-in-a-lifetime” collaboration, streetwear enthusiasts were not too happy with the announcement. Many cited Louis Vuitton’s lawsuit against Supreme in 2000 as their main reason for skepticism. The incident saw iconic skate brand Supreme incorporate Louis Vuitton’s trademark pattern on a skateboard.
