The Supreme x Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 will drop online and Supreme’s physical stores this Thursday in two colorways and matching boucle caps as well. The sneakers will retail at $190 (approx. S$257) while the caps will go for $45 (approx. S$61). But if you’d like to get your hands on them now, the collaboration sneakers are now available on StockX.com
Nike and Supreme have a long and storied relationship. The Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low is arguably one of the most important collaborations in the history of sneakers. Since then, the two have made it a point to collaborate on a sneaker at least once a year, the latest being the three-way collaboration with CDG on a black Air Force 1. This year, however, it looks like the NY-based skate brand is reviving the Nike Air Tailwind 4 all the way from 1999.
Appearing on the feet of a Supreme Paris store employee, the Supreme x Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 looks to be dressed in a tweed-like and nubuck mix black upper. The pair is accented with blue ankle collars and mini swoosh on the toe box. Bronze piping can be found on the mid-section of the shoe while hits of 3M don the lace loops and the toebox. Supreme branding is found on the lace stay in white.
No official release details have been confirmed as yet, but considering they are already on the feet of employees, we’re expecting them to drop soon. Watch this space for updates.
