Check out the sneaker’s details and the exorbitant price tag that comes with it.

Vetements creative director, Demna Gvasalia, first introduced the Reebok silhouette at the label’s Fall/Winter 2019 runway show in January. Two months on, the Vetements x Reebok Runner 200 has finally dropped online. Available in two colorways, the retro-inspired sneaker retails at a whopping S$990.72 on Mr Porter.

The runner is a fresh designer update to Reebok’s now-inactive “Premier Running” line. Its features include a mix of bold colorways on the inner lining and reflective strips on the breathable mesh upper that sits atop chunky rubber soles. In essence, the sneaker sits well within the ranks of iconic retro sneakers such as the New Balance 990. But whether the Vetements co-branding on the tongue tab justifies the steep price tag remains up for debate.

What do you think of the Vetements x Reebok Runner 200? Is it worth the price? Let us know in the comments below.
