Workshop Element: Home to Happy Socks and More

A wide range of colorful socks, leather shoes and fashion apparel, not to mention food and beverages, can be found at the Workshop Element’s new home.

Workshop Element (W.E.) started out in 2012 as a series of pop-up shops for emerging and established local labels to showcase their work and have a feel of the retail market. Three years and three locations later, it has grown into a full-fledged store that occupies a permanent space in Suntec City.

Built upon a shop-in-shop concept, W.E.+ focuses on just four brands – Swedish lifestyle accessories brand Happy Socks, shoemakers Atelier LLYR, women’s clothing label Révolte and revamped fashion line BSYM.

The latter three are homegrown labels and their presence is testament to Workshop Element’s philosophy of putting a family of local designers and businesses under one roof.

W.E.+ is also Happy Socks’ first shop in Southeast Asia, so there’s no questioning the assortment of well-designed socks and other accessories that one can choose from (see our guide to wearing the right socks).

Besides clothes, shoes and accessories, W.E.+ is also home to the newly-opened W.E. cafe, an all-day brunch and waffles destination that provides a much-needed pit-stop for the shopaholic.

Workshop Element (W.E.+) is located at Suntec City Tower 5, #02-433/434/436/438/441/442 (3 Temasek Boulevard, Singapore 038983). Opening hours are as follows:

Happy Socks and Atelier LLYR – 11am to 9pm (Daily)
Révolte – 11am to 9.39pm (Mondays to Saturdays), 10.30am to 9pm (Sundays)
BSYM – 10.30am to 9.30pm (Daily)
W.E. Cafe – 9am to 8pm (Daily)
