It’s not everyday that you enter a store with a live DJ set-up, but the three times we dropped by Warped shop in Seoul, there was a DJ on deck. We hear the store is owned by a DJ and most times, it’s he who’s playing; sometimes it’s a guest DJ (like Maalib). Overall, it’s a real smart move since good music has the ability to put anyone in the mood for some serious shopping.
Warped carries a mix of both Korean and international streetwear labels (Have a Good Time, Thrasher, etc.) and some good reads such as New York-based publication Sneeze Magazine. Warped fits perfectly into Itaewon’s trendy alleyways, so be sure to pop in for good things, or at least, the good music.

Just a short walk from Warped is Homer Pizza. Looking at the logo that features Greek-inspired lettering, we came to the conclusion that this pizzeria is named after Homer, not of The Simpsons, but the author of Odyssey and Iliad.
Known as the go-to pizza spot for its ambience (they play some seriously legit tunes here), they also serve up a mean white truffle pizza. They’re open till late, so it makes for the perfect ending to your day out splashing cash everywhere, and fueling the Korean economy.

While there are many cafes in Seoul, it’s uncommon to come across a cafe housed within a studio. Layer57 Studio is a factory-turned-warehouse studio that used to host photoshoots and events for Blackpink, Alexander McQueen, Fendi and others in that league. The minimalist design of Layer Cafe makes it worth a pit stop — that may stretch for hours.

Probably one of the most successful Korean streetwear brands out there, Ader Error has been around since 2014. But it’s not just focused on fashion. In their third flagship store, it’s clear that they’ve put architecture at the center of their focus. Ader Error has collaborated with major brands like Puma and Maison Kitsuné and has been seen on k-pop stars Hoshi from Seventeen and Jin from BTS. You won’t want to miss out on their unique, yet comfortable unisex pieces.
