The adidas Originals Tubular Runner receives a well-deserved upgrade, with Primeknit uppers rendered in carbon print patterns giving it a wicked appearance.
The upcoming adidas Originals Tubular Runner will be the first time we see a significant upgrade in the sneaker since its first appearance last year. As the name suggests, this shoe will have a Primeknit upper that’s decked in black and grey with a carbon print appearance. This sits atop the Tubular Runner’s signature thick white tubular sole.
Besides the difference in upper material, there is also an apparent change in the lacing system, with an added strap on the lateral side of the shoe. Comfortable and easy to wear, it will not be too late to pick these kicks up for the remaining months of summer.
The adidas Original Tubular Runner Primeknit “Black Carbon” is set to drop on Friday, June 19th at a retail price of US$150. No news on its availability in Singapore, so you might just have to grab yours from sites like Sneaker Politics.
