Three iconic colorways make a comeback on the Nike Air Jordan 1

Nike is bringing back three fan-favorite colorways of the Air Jordan 1.

Update: July 2, 12:30 pm (Singapore time)
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Light Smoke Grey” has finally popped up on Nike SNKRS and is set to drop on July 11 for a retail price S$239. If you love the look of the Union x Air Jordan 1, these are a must-cop.

The most notable is the Air Jordan 1 OG “Undefeated Dunk”, which first dropped in 2007 as a SB Dunk High.

Nike has dipped into their archives to revive three iconic colorways on the Air Jordan 1. Look out for the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Undefeated Dunk”, which draws inspiration from the 2005 Undefeated x Nike Dunk High – a true classic and grail. Scroll on for a closer look at all three colorways.

This Air Jordan 1 draws inspiration from the 2005 Undefeated x Nike Dunk High. The wild sneaker featured a combination of baby blue, shimmery copper, dark purple,  deep pink, neon green and black on the upper. The immediately recognizable sneaker has been a grail for many, due to its association with Undefeated and its tier 0, limited release. Only 5,000 pairs of the Undefeated x Nike Dunk Highs were ever made.

So, if you have always eyed this rare grail, here is your chance to cop an homage to the eccentric skate sneaker.  The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Undefeated Dunk” is slated to drop in July 2020 for US$170 (approx. S$246.29).

This AJ1 Zoom also draws inspiration from a 2000s SB Dunk High. This time, Nike pulls its colorway from the Gentlemen’s pack released in 2007 – specifically the Nike SB Dunk High “Brut”. The OG sneaker was inspired by the Brut aftershave, known for its aggressive smell.

Just like the skate sneaker, the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom “Rage Green” will come in a mix of black leather, green suede and white Swoosh on the upper. Though the color blocking is slightly different, the inspiration behind the colorway is still recognizable. The sneaker is slated to drop in Spring 2020 for US$175 (approx. S$253.54).

This Air Jordan 1 is a cheaper alternative to a very recent release – the Union x Air Jordan 1 that dropped in 2018. The sneaker’s color blocking brought together four of the most beloved AJ1 colorways. These sneakers were regarded as one of the best collaborations to drop in 2018 and now resell for US$1,075 (approx. S$2,470.17) a pair on StockX.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Light Smoke Grey” embodies the same split design, with a “Bred” ankle collar set atop a “Smoke Grey” color scheme. This could be a cheaper alternative for those who love the look of the Union x Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe”. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Light Smoke Grey” is rumored to drop on July 11 for US$170 (approx. S$246.29).
