The sneaker is a tribute to the basketballer’s much-lauded 2014 NBA Finals performance which saw the San Antonio Spurs claim the championship title. As expected, the team’s colors dominate the uppers in chrome, black, and white.
Signifying the victory further is a gold lace-tag inscribed with the year of the win along with a hang tag of the NBA Championship’s trophy, also in gold. Leonard’s signature hand logo can also be seen on the tongue and on the translucent outsole. View the gallery above for a detailed look at the Air Jordan 1 Kawhi Leonard.
For sneakerheads and NBA fans, perhaps the appeal of a predominantly chrome sneaker could be too much to turn down. If you’re looking to cop, save the details of the release down below.
