Recently, three new colorways of classic Air Jordans were leaked and are rumored to drop in the next few months. But why wait, when Nike SNKRS has just revealed three highly coveted Air Jordans to cop in the next week! All three sneakers – the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Blue the Great”, Air Jordan 5 “Island Green” and Air Jordan 1 Mid “Melody Ehsani” – have previously dropped on Nike SNKRS and sold out. Here is a closer look at each sneaker.
Created by sneaker customizer and artist Blue the Great, this Air Jordan 1 uses a mix of primary colors and corduroy to create a true head-turner. The colors are artfully applied to emphasize the various layers on the AJ1. The red, black and white suede panels provide a textural change that is commonly seen on classic Air Jordan 1s. Paired with a simple fit, these sneakers are sure to turn heads on the streets. The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Blue the Great” will drop on March 18 at 10:30 am for S$209 on Nike SNKRS.
Inspired by the quote “If you knew what you had was rare, you would never waste it”, Melody Ehsani’s take on the Air Jordan 1 mid is fearless, to say the least. The sneaker is bright, with a mismatched colorway. The left foot is dressed in cool blue and green tones, while the right uses warm orange and pink tones. Both sides sit atop a white midsole and icy blue outsole. The midsole has the aforementioned quote printed around the heel. The sneaker also comes with a special watch face aglet. The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Melody Ehsani” will drop on March 20 at 10am for S$199 on Nike SNKRS.
The Air Jordan 5 “Island Green” originally dropped on Single’s Day 2019 – 11/11/19. The sneaker brings a warm tropical vibe to the lineup with white palm tree prints on the full reflective 3M uppers. Under direct light, this looks like leopard print. Pops of teal across the outsole, midfoot cage, eyelets and tongue, give the sneakers a striking resemblance to the Air Jordan 34 “Snow Leopard”. The sock liner, midsole and laces come in matching black, while an icy green outsole tops it off. The tongue is highly prominent in this sneaker, coming in an eye-catching 3M teal. You can cop a pair on March 19 at 10am for S$299 on Nike SNKRS.
