The Jordan V “Fab Five” is a nod to the legendary Michigan College men’s basketball team.
Designed by famed Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, the shoe features a suede maize upper and an all-black tongue. The words “Hail To” and “The Victors” are also stitched onto the insides of the left and right tongues, respectively.
In addition, the heel features a specially created logo that represents the ‘five times’ sign that the team occasionally used. It replaces the signature Air Jordan “Jumpman” logo.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to add these shoes your collection, as they are gifts to friends and family of the Jordan Brand and will not be available for retail.
