Aquaman Solo Movie to Hit Theaters in Late 2018

It’ll take a while, but Aquaman’s standalone film will be swimming to cinemas come October 5^th 2018.

According to Collider, Aquaman will be portrayed as a whiskey-guzzling ruler of the sea who battles both arch-nemesis Black Mantra and revolting Atlantians.

The feature film will star Jason Momoa (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) as the titular hero, with Amber Heard (Magic Mike XXL) and Willem Dafoe (Spiderman 3) making up the rest of the main cast.

While waiting for Aquaman to reach shores, fans can see the superhero in action in the upcoming Justice League film, set to hit cinemas worldwide in November 2017.
