#HMBalmaination. Balmain is next in line to team up with H&M.
With Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn by his side, Creative Director Olivier Rousteing of fashion house Balmain announced his collaboration with fast fashion retailer H&M on the red carpet during the Billboard Music Awards. This announcement marks the latest addition to H&M’s notable list of collaborations with high fashion designers, such as Alexander Wang, Versace, Maison Martin Margiela and Karl Lagerfeld.
In an interview with style.com, Rousteing mentioned that this joint effort would help him reach out to the entire world which he is not able to do with a superluxury brand like Balmain (full interview here). As with previous H&M collaborations, expect nothing less than overnight queues and instant sell outs. The Balmain for H&M collection will include women’s and men’s clothes, shoes, accessories and is set to drop in H&M stores worldwide November 5th. Stay tuned for more details of the collaboration.
