Batman V Superman: Ultimate Edition is Rated “R”

Warner Bros has released 10 minutes’ worth of footage for Batman V Superman: Ultimate Edition. Read on to find out what’s different about this director’s cut.

Rated “R”, the three-hour long Batman V Superman: Ultimate Edition Blu-ray release will have additional footage that was initially left on the cutting room floor.

According to Den of Geek, Warner Bros has released a 10 minutes preview to give fans a glimpse of why the director’s cut of Batman V Superman is worth the watch.

In the Ultimate Edition, the amount of gore and violence definitely gets turned up a notch. Besides this, the “R” rating could partly be attributed to a scene where Bruce Wayne’s bare backside is shown as he takes a shower.

On top of all that, we get to see Jena Malone playing a small part in the grand narrative. The theatrical version cuts her entirely out of the film. So that’s something to look forward to as well.

Batman V Superman: Ultimate Edition is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Before you put the money down, watch the aforementioned preview here:
